The Effect
A spectator freely selects a playing card and signs it with their name, creating a completely unique card that is impossible to duplicate. The card is lost back into the deck, and the spectator shuffles the cards themselves.
You pick up the empty card box and draw attention to the security seal stuck firmly across the flap. Then, in a startlingly visual moment, the seal slowly and cleanly vanishes from the box. No covers. No switches. Just a pure, impossible disappearance happening right in front of their eyes.
The deck is immediately spread between your hands. One card clearly has the missing security seal attached to its back. The spectator removes the card themselves and turns it over… it is their signed card.
